Beyonce Knowles began her career in show biz at a very young age. She began performing in dance recitals and the church choir at the age of seven. In 1990, Beyonce formed the singing group Destiny's Child at her home with her cousin and best friend. She was nine years
old. The group's first major exposure was appearing on Star Search, although it's believed they were actually "discovered" after this appearance by Whitney Houston. With a lot of hard work, Destiny's Child soared to the top of the charts in 1998 with "No No No" and celebrated years of success before the group disintegrated.
Beyonce went on her first solo tour in 2004, and it seems she hasn't left the spotlight since. Her first solo album is "B'Day", which was released in 2006.
