Joe Jonas' favorite books read of all time:

In the June issue of Seventeen, Joe, 19, opens up about where he sees himself in five years. "I guess personally I would love to do more acting, maybe movies – that would be really cool," says the singer, whose Disney Channel series, Jonas (costarring his brothers), premieres Saturday.

His acting role model? "I think Johnny Depp's work is really great – he always incorporates music into what he does."

Joe adds that he also might want to "write a book one day, because I love to read. The Alchemist is my favorite book of all time."

Why should you listen to him?

Joseph Adam Jonas was born on August 15, 1989 in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was the second of four children born to parents Denise and Paul Jonas, after older brother Paul Kevin Jonas Jr. He was discovered at the age of 15, when a producer heard him, Paul (Kevin) and Nick singing "Please Be Mine". Please Be Mine was featured on their first album, It's About Time (2005). Though the album was not successful, the boys did not give up.

In 2006 the boys got signed to Disney, and created a music video, Poor Unfortunate Souls, for the remake of The Little Mermaid DVD. This was their big break, and gave the boys their much-needed kick. They latched onto Disney and are still currently one of Disney's biggest moneymakers.

The Jonas Brothers
signed with Hollywood Records in early 2007, and released a self-titled second album on August 7, 2007. It was widely successful, and reached number 5 on the Top 200 Billboard Charts in its very first week.

In early 2008, the boys hosted their very first (sold out) headlining tour, the When You Look Me in the Eyes Tour. This tour was across America, and debuted new songs which were then recorded and put onto their third album, A Little Bit Longer. On August 12, 2008, A Little Bit Longer was released. It debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard Chart and held its place. By then, it was pretty obvious that the Jonas Brothers were Disney phenomenons.
